Living Truth in Peace.

LIVE iNTENTION first
We all have a Wishlist.
Whether we admit it to ourselves or not, there's always something more we want out of life. But we go about getting what we want and creating the story of our lives in different ways. There are essentially two scenarios to claiming your desires. Which scenario sounds more like you? 1) (This is me!) I have a hard time waiting for anything. I'm a pretty "immediatet results" kinda woman. I take action on what I want right away. I want to top? I buy it. I want to take a course? I register and do it.... But there are some things that are not 100% under my control. Like when and how my perfect new home will come to me. Or the timing of when my client will take that next step in her life or business, so we can celebrate her success. I'm on the side of the "Wishlist" equation where I've got to learn patience and trust. I have to learn to stay in energetic alignment with the truth that what I want is already on its way to me, without me getting all caught up in the "when" or the "how". I have to practice taking continued action without trying to force things to happen now, now, NOW!!! I have to find ways to cultivate continued enjoyment of my life without shifting into the energy of lack, which has the effect of pushing what I want further and further away from me and delaying my eventual gratification. That's my journey. So sometimes it's hard for me to imagine why anyone who has access to getting what they want now would wait, or put things off (but I do get it! And sometimes this other scenario applies to me too.) Here's the flipside... 2) (This is the majority of people) I was reading reviews online about a pair of shoes I liked. In one post, a woman commented: " These shoes had been on my wish list for at least 4 years". She absolutely wanted them, and could sense how much joy they would bring to her life but said to herself "I could never justify spending that much on them." Sounds like she had the money and desire. So, why not get what you want???? Why deny yourself what you love (for years)? Just to wait for your husband to spend exactly that much on the shoes you want and surprise you with them as a gift? It makes for a lovely story about a husband and a gift, but essentially it also means that from the beginning (4 years ago) they were indeed worth exactly that price. If she invested at the time, she could have spent her life wearing and enjoying them rather than wishing for them, and coming up with reasons she was justified for not buying them (the energy of self-denial is energy otherwise used for self-fulfillment). Maybe it took 4 years of waiting and wanting, for her to realize within herself that her dreams and desires would not go away (and this doesn't just apply to shoes! It could be the relationship you want, the business venture you won't take, the vacation you postpone, the weight you hold onto, the job you don't go for...). Is that true for you? What are you waiting for to invest in your dreams? A sale where you save 10 or 15%? Is that worth years of your life not living in your bliss? When it's in your power, why not fully act now to create a life you love? You don't need to wait for your husband, the sale, the sky to fall down...to take action on your dreams. But it's all good either way if that's what you do. Neither scenario is right or wrong. Because life all depends on the story you want to tell and the experiences you want to have. In every moment, you're writing the story of your life. You have the power to shape it. That's what I've learned through my life and through my clients. So, which scenario applies more to you? What story are you going to tell? What's on your Wishlist?
